Property Policies

• Check-in time is 4:00pm and Check-out time is 11:00am. Early arrivals are based on availability and we are happy to accommodate an early check in if possible. Please contact us to inquire about special arrival availability.

• Bag Storage

  Due to limited space, we cannot storage luggage on the property prior to your check-in time or after your check-out time.

• Cancellations

  A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, guests must cancel 60 full days prior to our local check-in time (EST). Cancellations made within sixty days of arrival are ineligible for a refund.

• Pets

  To ensure that all guests have a quiet and comfortable stay, we do not allow pets.

• Parking

  Parking is available on-site for small to mid-sized vehicles.

• The Elliotborough Apartment comfortably accommodates 4 people. If you are wanting to utilize this space for a large group to prepare for an event (i.e. wedding), please contact us directly before booking to discuss the details.

• Do you allow smoking in the suite/apartment or on the property?

  • No, we are a smoke-free property.

• Do you allow pets?

  • To ensure that all of our guests have a quiet and comfortable stay, we currently do not allow pets at our inn. 

•  Is this property located in downtown Charleston?

  •  Yes, the inn is located in the vibrant Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood of downtown Charleston. The JJW Inn is located approx. 10 minutes from Waterfont Park/Rainbow Row; 5 minutes from King Street; 10 minutes from the cruise terminal parking area; and 15 minutes from Charleston International Airport (via I-26W).

• Do you allow parties or events?

  • To ensure that all guests have a quiet and comfortable stay, we do not allow parties/events.

• Do the suites have private entrances?

  • Yes, all rental units have their own private entrance. The Elliotborough Apartment has 2 entrances along with a private front piazza. The Cannonborough Suite has a private entrance and outdoor sitting area.

• Is parking available?

  • Yes, there is a parking lot behind the inn which best accommodates small to mid-sized vehicles. Please call or email us if you plan on arriving in a larger vehicle.

• Can I park more than one car at the inn?

  • Only one car is allowed per reservation.

• I am getting married and would like to use the apartment to prepare for my big day! Is this possible?

  • Please contact us directly before booking to discuss accommodating large groups.

• Do you have a concierge to assist with guest needs or special requests?
